well, not really. As wad it's other famed nick says, Las Vegas is truely "Sin City". Along the roads, people give out pornographic cards, and there are stands all over dispensing sick magazines. Danny'll love this place, haha!
But what struck me first when i entered the city was it's Magnificent Buildings! They are huge i tell ya. And there's like the whole world there. There's the statue of liberty, the eiffel tower, empire state building, disney land, treasure island... And finally i laid my eyes on Casears Palace, the Luxur Pyrimids!! and the MGM hotel. They're all fantastic.
But inside the buildings are clusters and rows of slot machinces and poker tables, roulette wheels.. you get the idea. The places near the casinos are full of not only cigarette smoke, but CIGAR smoke too... my ol factory was clogged with soot. But away from the gambling dens in the hotels await a sensational, opulent, elaborate, thematic experience equivilent to Disney land. Whew, only had two nights there, so we visited nearly every hotel in las vegas. Twas a overwhelming experience.
God has blessed my family and i with many things. I'm full of thanks but still for the whole holiday, i havae not done quiet time. Amist all the fun and rush, I just have to get back to God... otherwise, all these'll seem meaningless. And i'll juz sink into self centred entertainment. Realise that when i get realli impatient with family on several occasions. Where is the love??? Tommorrow i MUST do quiet time before we set off for the 4 hour drive to LA.
